The Hilton Maldives Iru Fushi Resort & Spa is located in the Noonu Atoll, one of the more secluded stretches of the archipelago nation. The Noonu Atoll is relatively shallow compared with many other parts of the Maldives, so you're likely to see different species of fish than you may seen have on previous Maldives dive holidays.
The resort offers luxury villa accommodations on the beach, scattered amidst the topical gardens, or poised on stilts, half-submerged in the lagoon. Every room features a private courtyard with an outdoor shower as well as a mini-bar, a coffee maker and climate control. Most rooms feature high speed Internet access.
There's plenty to do at the Hilton Maldives Iru Fushi. The resort features its own dive center for scuba divers and snorkelers. The house reef starts at 5 meters, and goes down to 18. Water sports like jet skiing, sailing, water skiing and wind surfing are also available. Fishing and dolphin watching expeditions can be arranged too.
For guests who prefer freshwater, the resort has a large infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean.
The resort sports 11 restaurants and bars, featuring Asian and Far Eastern cuisines predominantly. The Cellar wine bar runs a wine academy where guests can learn to distinguish wines on the basis of region, type and food pairings.
The Hilton Maldives Iru Fushi has the biggest spa in the Maldives. Treatments include massages, body wraps, body scrubs, facials, manicures and pedicures. A range of traditional healing therapies is also available.
